Your day-by-day route
You arrive in Nairobi, Kenya's capital. Your first stop is the Giraffe Centre where you can feed Rothschild giraffes face to face from a raised platform. Then visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (open 11 AM-12 PM only; book online).
Nairobi is a vibrant city but requires security awareness; don't walk alone at night and use trusted taxis (Bolt or Uber work well).
Tip: Only change minimal money at the airport; M-Pesa (mobile payment) is used everywhere in Kenya.

The most intense safari day: full day in the Masai Mara. Sunrise safari (5:30 AM) when predators are most active. Bush breakfast in the middle of the savanna.

Amboseli has Kenya's largest elephants with the longest tusks. Flamingos on the lake and herons complete the landscape.
Tip: Kilimanjaro is usually clear at sunrise and clouds over by 10 AM; wake up early or you'll miss it.
